Q. Do I need to get another line installed to receive calls on my new number ? 
A. No. Your new number is connected to your existing line; callers can dial either your normal local exchange number or your new number. Both ways you will receive the call as normal. 
Q. Do I own the telephone number ? 
A. No, you do not own the numbers. They are rented to you, for your exclusive use, for the period that your contract runs. This is no different from your home number, which is rented from BT for your use. 
Q. Once I place an order, do I need to contact BT or my telephone provider ? 
A. No - we take care of everything. No new telephone lines are required and your existing number remains unchanged. 
Q. How does it work ? 
A. It's simple - we map your existing number onto your new number/numbers. When someone calls your new Local Area Number, 0800, 0845 or 0870 number, it immediately connects through to your normal landline. 
Q. Will callers know where they are calling ? 
A. No - There is no way for a caller to know where your new number leads. 
Q. Can I have more than one Local Area Number, 0800, 0845 or 0870 number on the same line ? 
A. Yes - there is no limit on the number of numbers that you can map onto your existing landline. 
Q. What if I wanted to change the number that my new numbers go through to ? 
A. It's simple, just e-mail or call us and we can arrange it all for you. 
Q. Will you send me a report on how many calls I have received ? 
A. Yes, every month you will receive a detailed report showing all of the calls that you have received on your numbers. This information will also be available to you online.
